Zi Yuan’s father was a follower of a cult and was eventually tortured to death by its members. Zi Yuan was rescued, but his life has been a living hell ever since.
He ended up in a private youth shelter, where he met Xin Xin amidst the prison-like suffering. The two eventually escaped together.
Years later, Xin Xin became a well-known live streamer. She is grateful and admires Zi Yuan for saving her from hardship but, due to her own ‘secret’, she dares not confess her feelings and can only wait for Zi Yuan to contact her; Zi Yuan joined the ‘Young Master’s’ Punishment Group, making a living by violently confronting altars and intimidating cult leaders.
