【About the Book】
Do you think veterinary internships are about playing with cute kittens and puppies in the zoo?
Completely wrong!
Veterinary interns have to go out on typhoon nights to the deep mountains to help cows give birth, make shoes for goats with laminitis, clean up feces and urine in the cages every day, and even carry specimens full of maggots... There are many more unexpected daily tasks.
The author wraps the story with sweet and sour youthful growth, leading us to experience the cultivation of veterinarians and the challenges they face. The most difficult part is the complex human heart behind the innocent eyes of animals, and the trade-off between human welfare and animal welfare. These conflicts outside of medicine may not have correct answers, but they are important nutrients for becoming a veterinarian and also make us think about the possibility of treating all kinds of animals more carefully.
