Description

When someone close passes on, our world suddenly becomes empty, and nothing is the same as it was any longer. When his grandad Bernard dies, Mikey misses him and is very sad, so his teddy bear Bearnard decides to help his best friend and bring grandad back from heaven. But how will he get there? Luckily, the teddy bear can count on the support of some brave companions who are never short of creative ideas…

Little Bearnard is a warm story about the power of love and friendship, and about how even if someone has died they always leave something important behind – mementoes and happy memories to make us smile. Although the book touches on the difficult subject of saying goodbye to loved ones, there’s no shortage of the sparkling humour typical of Marta Guśniowska’s work, and the entire story is wonderfully enhanced by Ewa Poklewska-Koziełło’s cheerful, uplifting illustrations.
