Description
The trauma of the past is not your fault, but healing from it is your responsibility now.
What is Identity Trauma?
When we identify with a 'self that is not our own' and believe it to be our true self, our body and mind will suffer trauma.
Do you have similar 'self-identification'? For example:
◎I must be a good mother / teacher / employee... otherwise, I have no value.
◎I must be the family's ATM, otherwise, I won't be valued.
◎The real me is not liked by anyone; I must strive to be perfect.
◎I must be strong, otherwise, I will be looked down upon.
◎I am an alien wherever I go, so lonely.
◎The people I love always hurt me.
◎I am insignificant, and I am ignored everywhere.
◎I can't refuse others, or I will be disliked.
When do you need to check if your 'identification' is problematic?
◎Life seems to be stuck and cannot function normally.
◎Feeling trapped in a repetitive pattern that you can't stop.
◎Feeling dependent on a certain identity, as if you exist because of it.
These identifications usually stem from childhood traumas, each with a core fear, and also protect the individual from some kind of harm. However, they can become compulsive patterns that kidnap us, making us mistakenly believe that this is who we are.
These identifications bring benefits and make people reliant and addicted; they also bring limitations, causing people to constrict, become rigid, and lose balance: at best, life cannot function normally, and at worst, it manifests as psychosomatic symptoms: skin diseases, heart diseases, depression, anxiety, autonomic nervous system disorders, major illnesses, and so on, seeking medical help everywhere but hard to cure.
Starting from Energy Psychology, Precisely Cleanse Identification Trauma; Starting from energy psychology, you can precisely disentangle the identification trauma that has been entwined with us for years.
Wang Shufang, a well-known energy psychology lecturer and therapist in the country, is good at combining various techniques to make long-standing physical and mental problems of cases easy to solve.
In this book, Wang Shufang presents twelve typical cases of identification trauma and explains the psychological mechanisms behind each identification. In order to allow readers to heal themselves, she bases it on the Life Center Therapy, supplemented by TAT (Thought Field Therapy), FOH (Frontal Osteopathy Holding), and the guidance of light, to design a simple and clear eight-step process, enabling readers to identify their own identification patterns, quickly clean energy, self-heal, and everyone can do it.
Finally, through the teachings of masters such as Sufi scholars and Jungian psychologists, it clarifies spiritual issues such as self-nature, self, talent, and soul, and provides four in-depth exercises to guide readers to transform identification, from repairing Identity Trauma to spiritual awakening - to be the true you.
What the soul truly fears is not being ordinary, but being unable to 'live out its own image'. It's not being able to 'change its state', not fulfilling its 'mission' for coming here, and not being able to 'learn the lessons it wants to learn'. ——Wang Shufang, the author of this book
Be yourself; because everyone else is already taken. ——Oscar Wilde, British playwright
Author
In her early years, what she was passionate about were music, theater, and film; for the past two decades, she has been captivated by energy, healing, meditation, and all the incredible mysteries of life. Once she falls in love with something, she becomes completely absorbed, thinking about it day and night, and can only do what she is fascinated with.
She graduated from the Chinese Department of National Taiwan University and holds a master's degree in art criticism from a British metropolitan university. Having lived in the UK for over twenty years, she ran an independent music record company and won the Best Producer at the 15th Golden Melody Awards. She was taught by the originators of several energy psychology therapies and became a trainer and therapist for various therapies. More than ten years ago, she began to introduce and promote the theory and practice of energy psychology, enabling more people to have a systematic concept and ability for self-healing, embarking on a journey of self-exploration and self-completion.
She is the author of "Music River," "Gliding Ladder," and "Original Energy: A Mind-Body Therapy Through Time and Space."
