Description

Adapted from the fantasy novel of the same name by Pan Haitian, a writer who has repeatedly won the Chinese Science Fiction Galaxy Award, the story tells of a boy living in a forest kingdom who embarks on adventures across various magical lands to save his mother and fellow villagers, gradually growing up along the way. The author, with his solid painting skills and unique artistic style, vividly brings to life the story of a young boy's growth in the strange world from Pan Haitian's novel before the readers. His work not only displays characteristics of Western painting but also incorporates personal traces of printmaking, giving the images a strong visual impact.

This is not just a science fiction comic; it profoundly explores the nature of humanity, the reality of society, and the difficulties of civilization's growth. Through the adventurous journey of the young protagonist, Da Jiao, it showcases the collision of innocence and cruelty, as well as the enigmatic quest for humanity in a complex world.
