Laura McElroy
Laura McElroy is an artist/maker with a love for cats, spooky films, black metal, and sewing. She lives in Wales with her husband, son, and two mischievous cats, Salem and Loki. She has always followed a creative path, from drawing and baking as a child, making textile fairy dolls & wearable art at college, to studying art and textiles at university, where she achieved a first-class honors degree in contemporary textile practice followed by a distinction in her master’s degree of fine art. She is a huge lover of Halloween and everything spooky (all year round!) and she has been running her embroidery business, Cat & Magpie, from her home since 2020.
