Description

Is psychoanalysis still useful? It has a history of over a hundred years. In some respects, it has undergone tremendous changes, while in others, it remains closely linked to its origins. What is its most valuable legacy?

Stefano Bolognini and Luca Nicoli explore the relationship between contemporary psychoanalysis and today's discomforts, the origin of mental suffering, and the key role of analytical psychotherapy in explanation and treatment. They restore the core role of one of the great revolutions of the 20th century in the study of humanity and its suffering and the exciting world.
