Igor Oleynikov, winner of 2018 Hans Christian Andersen Prize for Illustration, meets Rightol's delegates in Beijing recently. The donation includes two campus libraries, nearly 3,000 books, as well as teaching equipment and school supplies for local primary school students. Yangque Village is located in Wangcang County, Sichuan Province. Wangcang, officially identified as a poor county by Chinese government, is sitting among the mountains in western China. Yangque Village is located 100 kilometers away from the county, and lacks of cultural and educational resources. There are 10 left-behind children studying in the school. Their parents have been working far away from hometown for a long time. Our arrival receives a warm welcome and we hope these books can open a new world for them.

Three years ago, an 8.0-magnitude earthquake hit this place, with over 69000 people lost their lives there. Rightol locates in the earthquake disaster region, and we had also suffered from this disaster. Over the past three years, we worked together to save ourselves and participate in post-disaster reconstruction, gradually stepping out of the predicament. Now we look back the history again, taking it as a new starting point. We will uphold the social responsibility as publishing media participants, make contributions to the society by creating a better life.

We empathize with the people who suffered fromYushu Earthquake. As an emergency response, Rightol had immediately called on to donate to Yushu, which got a warm response from whole staff. On 15th April, Rightol had donated all raised money to Chengdu Charity Federation. We will stand together with Yushu, unite as one and fight against the disaster.
