★This book, with its unique Shiba Inu character and the author's everyday life sharing, has resonated with and been praised by tens of thousands of netizens on Instagram.

★The company can do without me, but I can't do without myself. Like Shiba Inu Hachi, let's walk when we want to walk, and lie down when we want to lie down!

Description

The book tells the story of Shiba Inu Hachi, with its triangular eyebrows and round face, as it breaks free from eight years of a 9-to-5 life, humming a tune, and embarks on a new journey.
This Shiba Inu, named Hachi, makes us burst into laughter from the moment it opens its eyes every day. It infuses even the most mundane tasks, like folding a towel, with all its enthusiasm. From the interviews that one must endure with humiliation to the tough life in Seoul, growing up as a social person is never an easy process.
However, one day, Shiba Inu Hachi had an epiphany. The company can carry on without me, but I can't neglect myself. Like this Shiba Inu, who rarely barks and has a strong sense of self-respect, the author decided to aim for good food, good sleep, and a wonderful life, enjoying the present at a relaxed and leisurely pace. Shiba Inu Hachi also invites us: on the unknown path, even when we feel lost and anxious, we can move forward together. Most importantly, we can become happier. So, let go of worries and dance with Hachi!

When I was young, Santa Claus told us not to cry, because crying children wouldn't receive gifts. It wasn't until I grew up that I understood Santa's intention. In social life, we will always have moments when we want to cry, so it is necessary to cultivate patience from a young age. When I first arrived in Seoul for work, facing a three-month probation period, I had no choice but to live temporarily in an examination institute (a type of accommodation in South Korea that provides simple lodgings). With a monthly salary of 800,000 won, I had no other choice. No matter where I spread out my canvas, I would sketch, and in the illustration company, I was forced to complete a drawing every three minutes. After eight years of shuttling between different companies, shedding tears and snot, the Shiba Inu finally understood. We always feel trapped in a cycle, and the moment we break out of this cycle, a sense of fear will surge. To escape, we must do what we want to do. After all, life only happens once, and we don't need to be afraid of trying for the first time.
When you open this book, you will find Shiba Inu waving at you with various cute expressions. Sometimes it's being squished on the subway glass door during rush hour, sometimes it's seriously considering taking a half-day off on a lazy morning, sometimes it's lazily unwilling to work in front of the computer, sometimes it's secretly observing the boss's face before getting off work, and sometimes it's Shiba Inu checking the holiday schedule first when receiving the New Year's calendar... When everyone is caught in a one-way conveyor belt, Shiba Inu has found its own path. From now on, Shiba Inu's sincere journey to find happiness is about to begin, and its story will make you smile and sometimes move you to tears.
