Author

[Author] Marie Tibi
I grew up in the Hauts-de-France and then moved to Provence, where I have lived since 1977. It was education taught me to write, and my enlightenment books were the fables of La Fontaine and the poems of Jacques Prevert, which I would like to recommend here for you. I have a special love for nature and animals, especially enjoy observing them and learning about them that every creature in nature has its specialties. I often create bizarre or poetic stories or adventures, and sometimes I climb to the roof like a cat to ask the moon for inspiration. My work is usually a mix of 2 doses of fantasy, 1 handful of optimism, and 1 spoonful of humor, finished off with a few words to polish and sculpt. Until now, I have written and published over 40 children’s books.

[Illustrator] Luca Tambasco
I am Italian. I grew up in a city close to Venice. I have always been particularly fond of drawing and my parents bought me lots of brushes when I was a child. Naturally I studied pattern art from high school and then entered the University of Fine Arts in Bologna to study illustration. Now I live in Turkey and have illustrated for many works, including: novels, picture books, posters, and more. My favorite thing is illustrating children’s books, every piece I draw is beautiful and detailed that you can find something new every time you look at it. I hope the animals in this book make you smile and you will find all of them in your life one day.
