Description

In the vast solar system, there is a lonely little rock. He has been trying to find a good friend, but every planet is too busy. He plucks up the courage to rush to the Earth and turns into a shooting star which crosses down from the atmosphere. He finds a good friend who also cherishes him. The story unfolds with the little rock's wanderings through the solar system, allowing young readers to experience the beauty of the universe and think further about topics such as friendship and life.

The book also comes with an interactive booklet that uses mind maps, games, and coloring to assist children in gaining a deeper understanding of the illustrated story and the scientific logic.

About the Author
Deng Wen, pen name Deng Duo Duo, deputy director of the editorial department of children's popular science books of China Science and Technology Press Co., Ltd, deputy editor and reviewer, member of China Popular Science Writers Association. She is the author of the picture book series “The World Through Budding Eyes” and the collection of short fairy tales “Growing Up with Two Children”.

About the Illustrator
Wang Xiaoxu, pen name Dong Shanxu, an illustrator and picture book creator. Graduating from the Sculpture Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, he loves all the beautiful things in life and enjoys telling stories in pictorial language.
His works have been selected for the first illustration art exhibition organized by China Artists Association, and he has been honored:
Gold Award for Illustration in the “Visual City Unit” of Beijing International Design Week in 2018;
The 6th Hiii Illustration International Illustration Competition Jury Award;
Award of Excellence in the 16th 3×3 International Illustration Competition;
