Description

In the cold wind, a scientific research team travels to the Antarctic continent for scientific research. By accident, they enter a temperate forest! There are trees, flowers, insects and other magical creatures, and even a dinosaur! The picture book uses the story of the expedition team's journey as a clue to present a real and fascinating picture of the Cretaceous Period, allowing young readers to experience a magical prehistoric adventure with the expedition team.
The book also comes with an interactive booklet that assists children to understand the illustrated story and the scientific logic in a deeper way with mind maps, games and coloring.

Billions of years ago, Antarctica was a magnificent temperate forest! There were not only dinosaurs, but also flowers, insects and big trees. That was so amazing!
Those ancient plants disappeared, but their spores and pollen were scattered all over the earth, and sealed in the strata along with the soil. Over billions of years, the earth has changed, but the plants that once existed and the flowers that once bloomed have protected our planet in a unique way forever.
