Description
After arrival, the group tours the old mansion and stumbles upon a carved window in the Qingliang Pavilion with two odd symbols - the oracle bone characters for "fire" and "cloud". Later, they go to the room called "Yanan Hall" to listen to Mr. Carl playing the piano. Alan Boe finds another strange symbol on the alabaster flower pot - "pine" in gold script. Later, in the room called "Mianzhu Hall", the detectives find the oracle bone character for "light" in a Western clock. In the master bedroom, Mr. Carl finds a symbol that looks like horsetail whisk on a scroll.
Li Sidi, who is good at poetry, combines the information and catches a clue - they are likely to be related to a poem by a certain Chinese emperor of the Song Dynasty!
Through the poem, the group finds a mysterious embroidered fan and pinpoints the pavilion in the old mansion's garden, and they finally discover a Pi Xiu incense burner. They analyze the hints on the incense burner, and focus the clues on a black lacquer cabinet, which is a small chest of drawers with "Hundred Sons Picture" inlaid with inlays on the surface.
After careful observation and reasoning, Alan Boe finds that there is a secret compartment in the cabinet!
A small wooden box has been hidden in the mezzanine for decades, and the truth in it is waiting to be unveiled by people…
