Description

One day, the X Juvenile Detective Agency receives its first commission: A girl asks them to investigate the strange legend of the "Black Cat Chamber".

The legend takes place in the Black Cat Café. It is said that one day, the owner and his black cat were accidentally locked in the storage room for a night. When he woke up the next day, he realized that the black cat had disappeared from the chamber-like room! When he was finally found and released by his wife, he saw that the black cat was actually squatting nicely on the cash register. The man later tested it with other cats, and all of them can get out of the chamber! The store manager believed that there was a magical energy in the storage room that could inspire the cats to come out through the walls. Therefore, the man decorated the storage room as a "Black Cat Chamber" for customers to experience...

The little detectives come to the cafe to investigate. According to the man's rules, only one person can enter the chamber at a time, so Allen Boe and a cat go into the secret room, and they use their own padlock to lock the door. Outside the door, the store manager also locks the room.

There are no windows or lighst in the chamber, and Allen Boe is permitted to bring only a matchbox containing five matches for emergency lighting as well as his walkie-talkie. Allen Boe notices that three walls of the chamber are lined with shelves filled with statues of black cats. He hugs the cat and sleeps for the night on a circular rug in the center of the room...

When he wakes up the next day, Allen Boe is shocked to find that the cat has disappeared! He leaves the secret room and checks carefully, but there is no difference between the locks inside and outside the door, and the cat has really stayed outside the secret room!
Is the legend true? Is there really some kind of strange energy in the secret room?

Can the little detectives reveal the secret hidden in the "Black Cat Chamber"?
